Simple Mimes are a six-piece Simple Minds tribute band from Glasgow, Scotland. The band energetically rekindle the most memorable and successful music of new-wave rock icons, Simple Minds, through swirling keyboards, atmospheric guitar, pounding drums, rumbling basslines, beautiful harmonies and a powerful representation of Jim Kerr's Celtic baritone.

The band started in the summer of 2009 with drummer, Chris Anderson, and singer, Peter Innes.  In 2010, they were joined by lead guitarist, Davie McKay, bass player, Peter Ward, and keyboard maestro, Jamie Campbell.  The line-up was completed in late 2011 when Lorraine White joined on backing vocals.

At a Simple Mimes gig, the band visit their ever-increasing repertoire of classic Simple Minds tracks to bring you hits and favourites from Sons And Fascination, Sister Feelings Call, New Gold Dream, Sparkle In The Rain, Once Upon A Time, Street Fighting Years, Real Life, Good News From The Next World and Graffiti Soul.  It'll be only a matter of time until you're singing and dancing...!
